Authentic Italian takeaway to open seaside eatery on Teesside

An Italian eatery is branching out and setting up shop on Teesside.

Al-Noor Redcar is set to open early next month and is hoping to replicate the success of the owners' takeaway based over 1,100 miles away in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.

One of the Middlesbrough brothers involved in setting up the new takeaway, said their family in Italy set up Al-Noor in Lucca in 2016.

He said it has proved really popular and business is booming at that eatery. So, they are hoping the one in Redcar will have the same recipe for success.

The Redcar shop, which is due to open June 8, is based in the town's King Street, not far from the seafront.
