McDonald's gears up to launch their new restaurant in Oswestry earlier than originally planned.

The fast-food giant has said its new eatery on the former Smithfield livestock market site off Shrewsbury Road will open in the summer - having previously said it was anticipating an autumn opening.

Work has begun on the new site, with initial groundworks appearing.
