Bundobust opens in Birmingham

Indian street food business Bundobust has opened its fifth restaurant, a new 120-cover venue in Birmingham.
The restaurant is the latest to be opened by Bradford entrepreneurs, chef Mayur Patel and craft beer bar owner Marko Husak, who founded the business in 2014.
Serving contemporary vegetarian and vegan Gujarati street food, Bundobust Birmingham has joined the group's existing restaurants in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester Piccadilly, plus the Bundobust Brewery in Oxford Street, Manchester.
The company now employs over 120 people across its five locations.
A new 15-year lease of the grade II-listed Birmingham premises in Bennetts Hill was completed by Clarion's property practice, with a team led by partner Simon Mydlowski and including Lucy Entwistle. Amy Buttrick of Clarion's corporate team advised on an asset purchase of certain assets at the property from the outgoing tenant which completed in conjunction with the new lease.
Business immigration expert Anna-Elise Harvey, from Clarion's employment team, also supported Bundobust in obtaining a sponsor licence to enable the continued employment of three Indian chefs, as well as allowing it to apply for a further two chefs from India to take up roles in the UK with Bundobust.
