Jurys Inn appoints new GM's in Watford and Plymouth

Hospitality expert, Robert Walker, has been appointed by Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland as the new General Manager at Jurys Inn Watford.

With 27 years’ experience, Robert has played an instrumental part in managing and growing a number of hotel brands across the UK.

Most notably, Robert held a Cluster General Manager position with the InterContinental Hotel Group for over nine years, looking after a breadth of areas including Reading, Kent and the Solent region. During this time, Robert worked to increase percentage profit growth, managed the Holiday Inn Reading South hotel through a massive £2 million refurbishment programme and oversaw numerous hotel sales.

Most recently, Robert worked as the Director of Operations at London Town Hotels and as General Manager at Hilton Hotels & Resorts, before embarking on his new role at Jurys Inn Watford.

With over 200 bedrooms under its roof, Jurys Inn Watford is conveniently situated in the city centre.

Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland have also announced the appointment of George Graham as the new General Manager at Jurys Inn Plymouth.

George brings a wealth of hospitality experience to his new role, with over 13 years’ experience of working in the industry, managing and growing a variety of hotels in Northern Ireland.

Most recently, George headed up the Crowne Plaza in Belfast as General Manager, a role he held for over two years. During his time at the hotel, George oversaw the operations and expansions of the property and worked to drive growth of the business in the local area and beyond.

Prior to his stint at the Crowne Plaza, George managed the Roe Park Resort in Northern Ireland for over eight years, a role he moved to after leaving his position as General Manager at Ballykisteen Golf Hotel & Spa. Today, George is ready to bring his wealth of expertise to the role of General Manager of Jurys Inn Plymouth.
