The Athenian continues growth in Europe, UK, and Middle East

Greek gyros chain The Athenian, having established itself in London is now bringing its Greek street food offering to a wider audience. Recent ventures include four sites recently opened in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and 4 further sites coming in 2023.

Continuing this international expansion, three sites recently opened in Madrid and Murcia, and 10 more sites will be coming across Spain in 2023.

Growth is also happening in the UK, with two new delivery-only sites in Brent Cross and Glasgow having launched in October in partnership with Deliveroo and Jacuna.

The menu has also been refreshed and now features a new signature 100% plant-based Gyros sauce and mixed chicken and pork gyros wraps, with a new plant based ‘fiery’ sauce coming in early 2023. The Athenian is also serving delicious Greek treats, and is about to introduce a range of cakes and desserts. 

Founder, Tim Vasilakis, is excited about The Athenian’s recent developments.
