Southend business undergoes £60k refurb for new restaurant

A popular brunch and cocktail bar in Southend is undergoing a £60,000 refurb to convert the basement into a new restaurant.

Twelve Brunch and Cocktails, in Clifftown Road, currently offers a wide range of cocktails as well as a brunch menu.

However, bosses are now carrying out £60,000 refurbishment which will create a new restaurant in the basement of the business, to be known as Twelve The Restaurant.

Christopher Brown, the managing director at Twelve Brunch and Cocktails, said: “We are super-excited to bring a new restaurant dining experience to Southend.

“The restaurant will offer the most mouth-watering selection of foods in the most beautiful atmosphere.

“It will complement our popular bottomless brunch parties.”

He added: “The restaurant is going to in the basement of the current site, which is undergoing extensive refurbishment, and will be open from the end of July.

“It will add and change the dimension of Twelve.
