Peninsula Hotels appoints Sonja Vodusek as Managing Director of The Peninsula London

The Peninsula Hotels group has appointed Sonja Vodusek as Managing Director of The Peninsula London, effective 1 February 2020.

Oerlooking Hyde Park Corner and the Wellington Arch, in the heart of Belgravia, The 189-room Peninsula London will welcome guests from 2021.

Current General Manager of The Peninsula Tokyo, a position she has held since 2015, Ms Vodusek’s commitment to The Peninsula Hotels extends back to 2010, when she first joined The Peninsula New York as Hotel Manager. She subsequently went on to serve as General Manager of The Peninsula Manila, a post she held until her appointment at The Peninsula Tokyo.

A native of Victoria, Australia, Ms Vodusek holds diplomas in hotel and business management from the Blue Mountain International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) in Sydney and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, respectively. Prior to joining The Peninsula Hotels, Ms Vodusek had gained 16 years of experience holding various executive management positions in the luxury hospitality sector at Four Seasons hotels in the United States, Japan, Ireland, Australia and the Czech Republic.
